Cherry Orchard – Isle of Man

Facilities at Cherry Orchard

The Cherry Orchard Timeshares are set in Port Erin with all the attractions and unique beach close by. Leisure facilities included within the timeshare is a gym, Jacuzzi and sauna. Also outdoor sporting activities are all close by. During the day “The Coffee Lounge” has a wide choice of cakes, pastries and light snacks along with traditional and speciality teas and coffees. You will find a good choice of hot food from the specials board daily at lunchtimes and in the evenings. There is a variety of entertainment on offer for younger and older children in the play area and games room.  Wi-Fi lounge, launderette facilities. Lift accesses all floors.
Destination

The Cherry Orchard is set on the south coast of the Isle of Man in Port Erin village. It’s an ideal place to stay to visit the entire island. Port Erin is known for its spectacular coast and various different historical sites. Port Erin’s beautiful beach is one of the most popular sheltered, sandy beaches on the island. There are many coastal paths ideal for walking or cycling enthusiasts and take in the stunning views along the way. There is also the opportunity to take you to a wide variety of water sports, fishing, boating and cultural activities. The supermarket is close by as well as local butchers, newsagent, cafes, pubs, bars and excellent restaurants. Across the road from The Cherry Orchard is a bay area to catch a bus to different destinations on the island its runs an excellent service. There is also the unique railway steam train just a stone throw away which will take you into the main town of the Isle of Man, Douglas, or you can hop on and off to explore some of the breath taking sceneries along the way.
Accommodation

The apartments are practical, modern, and comfortable, and all have fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms and a lounge area with a sofa bed. They can sleep from 2 people up to 6 people.

Off Site Facilities

The steam train will take you through Castletown where you can visit the castle and old harbour. Next door to Port Erin you will find the gorgeous Port St Mary which has the most beautiful walk around the harbour. Take a trip up to Calf of Mann to see the seals, and on your way you could visit Cregneash village the oldest village in the Isle of Man. There is the old home of rest for horses which is always a delight to visit. From Douglas you could hop on the railway tram and go up the highest mountain here called Snaefell and then carry on up to the north of the island to Ramsey and take a browse around some of their craft shops and lovely walk around the lake at Mooragh Park. Also the Curraghs Wildlife Park is also worth a visit for a fun day out. Peel is a fabulous place to take in some quality fresh air around the coastline and also known for their excellent ice cream.
